Peoria Christian Chargers Varsity defeated Henry 9-0 on Tuesday as two pitchers combined to throw a shutout. Noah Rodman struck out C.Smith to finish off the game. PCS grabbed an early lead. The Chargers scored on a single by Justin Post in the first inning, a single by Josh Heller in the first inning, a single by Noah Rodman in the second inning, and a fielder's choice by Post in the second inning. Then the chargers scored three runs in the fourth inning. The big inning was thanks to a groundout by Post, a single by Brad Timm, and a error.

Josh Hoffman earned the win for Peoria Christian Chargers Varsity. He pitched six innings, allowing zero runs, one hit, striking out 11, and walking one. G.Smith took the loss for Henry. He tossed four innings, giving up nine runs, nine hits, and striking out three. PCS had ten hits in the game. Heller and Hoffman each collected multiple hits for the Chargers as well.
