Chargers take home third place at state!

It was a fantastic season, one I won't forget and hate to see be done. We may not have played are best but we fought hard to the finish and we're blessed with receiving the third place trophy. I'm proud of these guys and will miss our seniors tremendously. Most importantly they represented the Lord. Isaak Ramsey lead the chargers with a 81 today and 154 over two days good for 7th overall.

PCS in second place after day 1

After the first day of two days at the state tournament, the chargers are in second place. Isaak Ramsey lead the team with a 73 and is currently in fourth overall. The team will be in the top pairings for tomorrow to have a shot at a state title!

Varsity Boys win the sectional, headed to State!

The varsity boys won the Aledo sectional by 16 strokes with a 320 team score. lead by a 75 from Ryan Hauter (second overall), and a 79 by Cole Cox. The chargers are headed to State at Prairie Vista in Bloomington this weekend.

Regional Champions!

The varsity team was able to defend their regional championship with another one tonight at crane creek. Another balanced night of team scoring gave the chargers a 333 total to win by 19 strokes against all of the other schools. Cole Cox lead the way with an 80 good for second overall. We had three guys in the top five, call Cox, Maverick Wixom, and Ryan Hauter.

PCS Varsity wins the Tri-County

With a needed tournament win to keep the conference title at home, the varsity boys win the conference tournament with a 340. Cole Cox shot a -1 on the back nine to lead the chargers with a 79, and second in the tournament. Maverick Wixom, Cole Cox, and Isaak Ramsey made all conference for the season as well.

Varsity boys beat Illini Bluffs 162 - 201

In the last dual match of the year the varsity team defeats Illini bluffs to finish the regular season 13-1. Lead by Cole Cox's 37, PCS had another balanced team performance.

2nd at the Canton Invite

PCS has their best finish of the year with a 305 at the canton invitational. With four scores under 80, PCS is lead by sophomore Cole Cox and his 74. Three varsity golfers finished in the top 10 Ryan Hauter, Isaak Ramsey, and Cole Cox.

Varsity loses first match 174-167

PCS boys lose their first match of the year to conference opponent Henry 174 to 167. PCS does beat the Metamora in the triangular match 174 to 175.

A balanced team attack again provides the win for PCS. Derek Schaffner shoots a 40 to lead the way for the chargers. The chargers are now 11-0 in match play.

Varsity beats brimfield 157-223

Varsity boys played brimfield at weaver ridge tonight and were able to continue their unbeaten season. Maverick Wixom and Isaac Ramsey lead the way with 38's.

PCS places 1st out of 16 at the Heyworth Invitional

The varsity boys were able to defend their 1st place title with a 329. The 16 team heyworth invitational was played at Wiebring golf course in Bloomington today. Isaak Ramsey placed 5th with a 79 and Lee Denbraber placed 10th with an 82.

Varsity boys win 162 - 168 against Washington

Led by Cole Cox's 38, the varsity boys hang on to beat Washington and keep the undefeated season going. JV also beat Washington as well.
