Reduce Tuition Costs by Using SCRIP

We encourage all families to take advantage of our SCRIP PROGRAM. When you use scrip, everyone benefits!  You can receive gift certificates for many restaurants & stores that you currently use. You can use scrip to purchase everyday expenses like food, clothing, and other essentials.  PCS earns revenue with every purchase you make.  Since PCS purchases a large amount of scrip from retailers with cash up front, the participating retailers offer a discount from 2-20%. Then we sell the gift certificate to our PCS families at full face value.  You can generate revenue for the school through purchases that you would make anyway. Groceries, clothing, toys, gifts, and gasoline can ALL be purchased with scrip. The scrip revenue is split 50/50 between you & PCS with every gift certificate you purchase. Your rebate (earned revenue) is available to you in November & April.

As of August 1, we no longer will be using the paper order forms.  You can order scrip online 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, from any computer!  Online ordering will be more convenient, easier, and faster for YOU.  You will continue to pick up your gift certificates/cards at the PCS business office.

Start by creating a free account at www.shopwithscrip.com. Go to the green Family Sign Up box on the left side, and click “Create Account.”

After you have signed up, you will enter your username & password each time you want to place an order.

Several shopping methods available:

• Express Add - quickest way to add items to your cart. Simply type the first few letters of item you are looking for. The drop down box will contain all products starting with letters you type.
• Search Brands – Enter part of the retailer name in the box to find a list of items containing those letters.

When you finished shopping, click “Checkout” to review your shopping cart

Payment options –

• Pay online using PrestoPay – secure electronic funds transfer system from your

bank for the face value amount of your order, plus a small convenience fee of $0.39.

• Pay by cash, check, or credit card to Peoria Christian School when you pick up your order at PCS.

If you need assistance, we will be happy to assist you with setting up your account and ordering from shopwithscrip.com.  A computer will be available in the business office where we will assist you.
