What a blessing that we were able to hold our 59th Annual Fall Stewardship Banquet on Thursday, September 24th.  God has been providing a quality Christian education for many students through PCS since 1950!!

Throughout the evening, God’s faithfulness was the underlying theme that we were continually reminded of…through music and personal testimonies.  We experienced wonderful fellowship with our PCS family, and Christian comedian, Jeff Allen, gave us the opportunity to laugh until we hurt. ☺ Pastor Mark Friday closed the evening by reminding us of the awesome blessing of Christian education our children are receiving at Peoria Christian School & asking us to pray about how God would lead us to give through prayer, finances, or time.

Even in the midst of today’s troubled economy, we received many gifts and pledges from faithful donors. This giving provides a solid foundation for us as we work toward our $300,000 Annual Fund goal for the year. The Lord has provided gifts and pledges totaling over $130,000! We want to give Him all the credit and glory for His continued provision financially, which makes it possible for us to strive to fulfill our mission of “preparing students to lead more Christ-like lives.” As the psalmist wrote in Psalm 91:2, ‘[We] will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust.”’

A HUGE “thank you” to all of the volunteers who decorated and assisted with all of the many details that made the evening special!! We couldn’t do this without all of you!
