Crescendos

High School Crescendos at PCS is a full year course for 9th - 12th grade students. The emphasis is on group musical development, performance, and music ministry. Some students may receive solos and/or duets within a musical selection. The course is designed to offer each student the opportunity to develop their musical talents in a manner that glorifies our Lord.

Students are required to participate in all concerts listed on the music department calendar. Many students will also participate in the IHSA Solo & Ensemble event in the spring semester. This is a great opportunity to develop their talents and to learn to work in a different environment other than Crescendos.

In an effor to expand our music ministry and community outreach, a limited number of additional performances may be scheduled throughout the school year to include, but not limited to, area church services, community and civic organizational meetings, the All School Christmas Chapel, ACSI Music Festival, and the Peoria Arts in Education Celebration.
