It’s Reenrollment Time! 
Reenrollment forms have been mailed to current families. Additional forms are available in the Business Office. Please make sure your completed reenrollment form with signatures and $100 tuition deposit is mailed or dropped off at the Business Office by February 1st. (You can take $100 off your July tuition payment for this $100 deposit.)
Planning is underway for fall classes and any available spots will be opened up to new families after February 1st. Reenrollment information is used by the school in many different ways and is very important for planning staff needs, programs, classes, etc. so we ask that you fill your form out and return it quickly.

New Family applications are available on-line under the “Admissions” button or by calling 309.686.4500 ext. 17. New sibling applications are available in the Business office.

Emergency Cell Phone Texting Service
PCS is offering parents and staff the capability to receive text messages from the school for only the following types of situations: snow days, school crisis information or emergencies. The service will work with all cell phone providers and is provided to you for no extra charge. (Your service provider may charge for text messaging.)
Here’s how to subscribe:

Text the words “lordstext pcs” to 368638.

You will receive a text message to which you will need to reply by sending the number “1” back.

You will receive another text from the company asking you to reply with the word “yes” in order to subscribe. (A total of five text messages for which you may be charged by your service provider.)

PEORIA CHRISTIAN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL NAMED ONE OF ONLY 314 BLUE RIBBON SCHOOLS NATIONWIDE FOR 2009
Tuesday, September 15 - U.S. Secretary of Education Arne Duncan today announced 314 schools as 2009 National Blue Ribbon Schools. Peoria Christian Elementary School was named one of the 50 private schools nominated for this prestigious award by the Council for American Private Education (CAPE). There are approximately 27,200 private schools registered with CAPE from which they choose their annual nominations.
The 2009 Blue Ribbon Schools – 264 public and 50 private – will be honored at an awards ceremony on November 3 at the Omni Shoreham Hotel in Washington, DC. Becky Gardner, PCS Elementary Principal, and Sandy Wiele, PCS Second Grade Teacher, will be attending the November ceremony to honor the teachers’ and students’ achievements that have met the rigorous standards set by the Department of Education.
