Minho Kim, currently in 10th grade, has been with Peoria Christian for 1 1/2 years starting in the fall of 2015 as a freshman. Many-peers, faculty, coaches and leaders-in the school community appreciate him as a delightful young man with vast potential who regularly show his humility and compassion. He has given his time and effort to a number of events and causes in the local community-Peoria Dream Center, Key Club, Susan G. Komen Race for Cure-and more. In addition to his involvement outside the classroom, at school he is known as a math whiz. We are hoping that he will be key member on the 2017 Worldwide Youth in Science and Engineering team and distinguish himself in the American Mathematics Competition in February.

After high school, he is planning to continue to his studies in an engineering related major at possibly Rose Hulman, UIUC, Georgia Tech or UC Berkeley. Will he invent the next automated car?
