Susan G Komen Race for Cure (Breast Cancer)
The Susan G Komen Race for the Cure is the largest breast cancer organization for America. The foundation was found in 1982 in Texas by Nancy Goodman Brinker. For the past eight to nine years, the International department from Peoria Christian High School has been participating in the foundation by raising money from individual and group projects. This year the international department has created the Peoria Christian School to lead for the Cure to participate once again. (Ji Woong Jeon, Jong Hoon Park, Ki Jung Kwon, Sung Jung Kwon, Sang Hyun Lee, Minho Kim, Min Seok Lee, Chan Hyung Kim, Joon Kyu Baik) The one who stands out of these member is Ji Woong Jeon, a rising senior, who is not only participating in the run and raising funds but will also be working all summer to get extra money to help out the foundation.
