ROWA-Williamsfield Runs Away With Early Lead In Victory Peoria Christian Chargers Varsity watched the game slip away early and couldn't recover in a 2-1 loss to ROWA-Williamsfield on Tuesday. ROWA-Williamsfield took the lead on a walk in the second inning.

The pitching was strong on both sides. ROWA-Williamsfield pitchers struck out six, while Peoria Christian Chargers Varsity sat down eight. ROWA-Williamsfield fired up the offense in the second inning, when Wright drew a walk, scoring one run.

Libby got the win for ROWA-Williamsfield. He went six innings, allowing one run on seven hits, striking out five and walking one. Sams threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen. Sams recorded the last three outs to earn the save for ROWA-Williamsfield.

Nick Nielson took the loss for Peoria Christian Chargers Varsity. He allowed two hits and two runs over four innings, striking out seven.

Peoria Christian Chargers Varsity racked up eight hits on the day. Cole Cox, Braden Tilson, and Jake Hauter each had multiple hits for Peoria Christian Chargers Varsity. Hauter, Tilson, and Cox each managed two hits to lead Peoria Christian Chargers Varsity.
