PCS Preschool Program 3-yr-olds & 4-yr-olds

Welcome to Pre-K where our loving teachers help these precious young students develop a solid foundation for a lifetime of learning!

Students experience a play-based environment designed for them to flourish and grow in confidence while learning through fun centers and active group time. They will experience the benefits of an intentional learning community that promotes academic, physical, social, emotional, and spiritual growth.

Most importantly, our students develop academically in reading and math readiness for their next level in a safe, caring and Christ-centered environment. Whether students are learning about math or music, they are taught from a Biblical perspective, fostering spiritual truth and character development in an age-appropriate way.

PCS Early Ed, What to Expect

Pre-Kindergarten Enrollment Options for the 2024-2025 School Year

PreK 3-yr-old

3 Half Days, 8:30 am - 11:30 am, (T, W, Th). Students must be 3 years old by September 1 and toilet trained.

PreK 4-yr-old Options

5 Half Days, 8:30 am - 11:30 am, (M-F). Students must be 4 by September 1 and toilet trained.

Half day preschool students experience the same Christ-centered and play-based focus in their lessons and activities as the all-day program. In our half-day program, we partner with parents to build on kindergarten readiness skills introduced in the classroom.

5 Full days, 8:30 am - 3:00 pm, (M-F). Students must be 4 by September 1 and toilet trained.

Our full day students enjoy lunch with peers, reset their bodies during rest time, and participate in additional teacher led activities in the afternoon. Admission to PreK & Peoria Christian School

Your acceptance through our application process into the Pre-Kindergarten program is acceptance into Peoria Christian School (Pre-K through 12th grade). You will not need to reapply for your student’s following school years. Our Pre-K program follows our regular school calendar August to May.

They are happy to help with any questions you may have!

Early applications are encouraged as spots are filling quickly.

Pre-K tuition & fees 2024-2025

Tuition (monthly cost based upon 12 payments option):

Pre-K 3-yr-old Half Day (T,W,TH) $223/month
Pre-K 4-yr-old Full Day (M-F) $445/month
Pre-K 4-yr-old Half Day (M-F) $340/month

Other fees:

New student or new sibling - a one-time $99 application fee is required at the time of application
Annual Registration fee - $55
Building fee - $56/month Full Day and $29/month Half Day (this is a per family, not per student fee)

PCS Pre-K is exempt from state licensing. We are committed to on-going self-monitoring to maintain compliance with IL State Standards for Early Childhood Education as well as meet the majority of ACSI’s accreditation standards.
