ADMISSIONS STEPS
At Peoria Christian School, we are committed to providing an exemplary, Christ-centered education where your child will be rooted in a deep love for God, known within our community, engaged in educational excellence, and inspired to make a difference.
As you engage in the Enrollment process, our team is committed to walking alongside your family—providing guidance, answering questions, and faithfully covering you in prayer. Below is an overview of each step as you consider the opportunity for your child to join the Peoria Christian School community.
ADMISSIONS CRITERIA
Family professes faith in Jesus Christ. Within the application, parent/guardian(s) will give testimony of how they came to Christ as Savior.
Family is active in a Bible-believing church. Regular church attendance of parent(s) and student is required for admission. Within the application, applicant provides contact information for a church leader or pastor. We then send your church leader our online Pastor/Church leader Form to complete on behalf of the applying family. This is a required form for all applicants.
Family subscribes to and supports our Mission, Vision and Statement of Faith.
It is expected that the student will have scored in the 40th percentile or higher on standardized testing.

Application Process

The application fee for domestic students is as follows:
By December 31st, 2025: $49
From January 1st to March 31st: $99
From April 1st to June 30th: $149
From July 1st to August 31st: $199
For international applications, the fee is $200.

Upon review of application and supporting documents, if a student placement test is needed, the Enrollment office will contact you to schedule an appointment.

Every family applying for enrollment will meet with a school principal. Interviews offer parents and principals the opportunity to ask questions and to determine if Peoria Christian School is the best fit for the student and family.

An enrollment decision will be given within one week of the family interview.

To guarantee student placement, register online with your email link sent after acceptance and set up a tuition account through FACTS. You will have 21 days from the time of acceptance to give us your enrollment decision.
Documents Needed

Within the application, the applicant provides contact information for a church leader or pastor. We then send your church leader our online Pastor/Church Leader Form to complete on behalf of the applying family. This is a required form for all applicants.

Report Card/HS Transcript:
Grades 1-12, please upload your most recent report card or transcripts within the application.

Grades 3-8, please upload your student’s most recent standardized test scores within your application. It is expected that students will have scored at the 40th percentile or higher on their most recent standardized test. We are happy to work with homeschool students.

Birth Certificate
Each new student must provide a certified copy of his/her birth certificate by September 10th of the enrolling school year.
Physical Examination
Each new student and those entering Kindergarten, 6th and 9th grades must provide a copy of a physical examination and needed immunizations by September 10th of the enrolling school year.
Dental Examination Form
An Illinois dental examination is required by law for all students entering Kindergarten, 2nd, 6th and 9th grades. A copy of a dental examination form must be submitted by April 15th of the enrolling school year.
Vision Form
An Illinois vision examination is required by law for all students entering Kindergarten as well as those entering an Illinois school for the first time by September 10th of the enrolling school year.
Sports Physical
For middle and high school students, if your child will be playing a sport, you will need a new physical each enrolling school year.

Where applicable, please upload your custody agreement, IEP, or 504 plan.
Students who have an IEP or a 504 plan will be considered on an individual basis to ensure that their unique educational needs can be met. Please contact our admissions office before submitting an application.
